Cheshire Cheese Angling Club (CCAC) is a small, friendly fishing club founded in 1962 at the Cheshire Cheese pub in Latchford, Warrington. The club controls a stretch of the River Mersey at Rixton with approximately 20 pegs, hard standing parking, and species including roach, bream, dace, perch, gudgeon and occasional carp. Members fish a programme of matches throughout the year on both stillwater and river venues across the North West, including the club's own Mersey stretch and occasional coach trips. Open to adult anglers of all abilities. Monthly meetings are held at the Cheshire Cheese pub, Latchford, on the first Thursday of the month at 8pm.
