The Warrington Way is an annual 40-mile ultramarathon trail race starting and finishing in Lymm village, circumnavigating Warrington on a predominantly trail route. Open to solo runners, pairs (each covering 20 miles) and 4-person relay teams (each covering 10 miles). The 2026 race takes place on Saturday 14 November; entries (350 places total) open at 09:00 on 1 May 2026 via a Nifty Entries link published on the Lymm Runners website. The route is waymarked but runners must carry maps; well-stocked checkpoints are at miles 10, 21 and 30. A hot meal and finisher's medal are provided; a technical T-shirt is available to order in advance. UK Athletics registered and licensed by the Trail Running Association.
