On Tuesday 25th August, Torfaen Council’s Healthy Planet, Healthy People team are joining up with Gwent Wildlife Trust who are leading a walk to find the mysterious creatures that fly above our heads as it gets dark…….bats! Come and join us for a walk through Pontypool Park with bat detectors at the ready to listen to these mysterious animals as they hunt!
8pm start for the walk with the optional making your own bat mask crafts activity at 7:30pm.
The meeting point for the walk is at the reception of the Active Living Leisure Centre in Pontypool Park with parking available in the main car park of Pontypool Park.
This evening walk will take the group across different terrains over roughly a mile. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear on the day.
Assistance dogs only during this event please.

Dewch i ymuno â ni am dro drwy Barc Pont-y-pŵl gyda synwyryddion ystlumod yn barod i wrando ar yr anifeiliaid dirgel hyn wrth iddynt hela!
Taith cerdded yn dechrau am 8pm ac opsiwn i wneud gweithgaredd grefftau creu eich masg ystlum eich hun, am 7:30pm.
Y man cyfarfod ar gyfer y daith gerdded yw derbynfa'r Ganolfan Byw’n Egnïol ym Mharc Pont-y-pŵl. Mae mannau parcio ym mhrif faes parcio Parc Pont-y-pŵl.
Bydd y daith gerdded hon gyda'r nos yn tywys y grŵp ar draws gwahanol dirweddau am tua milltir. Gwisgwch ddillad ac esgidiau addas ar y diwrnod.
