Have you ever heard the tale of the birth of Taliesin?
On 8th July, we are delighted to be joined in Pontypool Park by Daniel Morden, who will be telling the legendary Welsh story of Gwion Bach and his epic escape from the goddess Cerridwen. An exciting encounter of Gwion Bach transforming into different animals in order to escape, only for Cerridwen to change and pursue him as that animal’s predator! Come and listen to this magical and thrilling tale from long ago!
There will also be crafts following the story for children to colour in and create masks of some of the animals that feature in the story.

Gornest gyffrous lle mae Gwion Bach yn troi’n anifeiliaid gwahanol er mwyn ei dianc, a hithau’n newid i ysglyfaethwr y gwahanol anifeiliaid. Dewch i wrando ar y stori hudolus a chyffrous o amser maith yn ôl!
